The so called Human Rights Activist, Sultana Kamals venomous attack on Islamic politics. Is this contempt of divine rights given by Allah to establish his law on the land?

Allah never compels anyone to follow his way, but has given guidance to humanity to follow whosoever wishes. It is explicitly mentioned in the Quran that there is no compulsion in religion, rights stands distinguish from wrong. But we as Muslims have been ordered to convey the message to humanity and enjoy in what is good and forbid what is evil. Jamat Shibir never forces anyone to follow their ideology, but has every right to preach Islamic ideology and with the support of the people has every right to govern Bangladesh if majority of the people vote them to power.

Sultana Kamal grossly lied about our aspirations for an independent Bangladesh. She probably had forgotten that secularism was not one of the four main principles in Mujib Nagor Sarkar. People of Bangladesh fought for independence, and not for secularism or one party rule. If Jamat and their leaders followed a different political view, it was because they believed in Pakistan unity; these leaders had never ordered anyone to be killed, if they did, then it should have been proven in an internationally recognized impartial court, but this has not been done, rather all the evidence regarding the neutrality of ICT points to the opposite of fair justice. But to demand banning of Islamic politics is contemptuous, and an insult to Muslim population of Bangladesh.

Sultana Kamal was one of those who were selected to lead caretaker government of Fokhruddin before the army led government came to power; apparently those advisors supposed to have been neutral having no political affiliations. People had always doubted her neutrality and many thought that she was an extreme Balist, leftist, anti Islamic, biased human rights campaigner. Her views were inimical to any human rights principle. In her interview with Daily Prothom Alo, She cite courts verdict on Jamat war time role, but never sees all the injustices, and gross violations the courts had done to Jamat leaders in the name of Law.

Sultana Kamal never said a word when the Awami Government killed hundreds of innocent Shibir men on 28th February and the slaughtering of Hifazot Men on the night of 5th of May. Many of the gross human rights violation by this government were not criticised or challenged by this woman, rather she tacitly supported government killings of Shibir men after the verdict of Maulana Delwar Hussain Sayeedi. The courts verdict of Jamat leader Sayeedi was greatly influenced by Shabag Chottor and the Prime Ministers implicit support for death sentence in the Bangladeshi parliament. But she never expressed her concern for such statement by the Prime Minister

Sultana Kamal views do not fit with human rights campaigners’ role. Instead her views are selective to please a certain party that she supports. It would have been better if she had left that position and openly participated in political activities to further her personal views instead of shielding her self behind a human rights organization thereby damaging its credibility.

An abased Munni Shah cries out in silence while Amadershomy adheres to being a stooge of Sajeeb Wajed Joy.

Daily Amadershomy হাসিনা পুত্র জয়ের দালালীর শীর্ষে । Recently Amadershomy has been running many articles about Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Joy. It seems they are in a mission to promote and publicize him to the Bangladeshi public so that he may become more acceptable to the people of Bangladesh. I wonder how much money Sheikh Hasina had paid to them to carry out over inflated publicity of him.

This play boy, married to an American, brought up in India, and settled in the world biggest hegemonic power USA, has nothing good to offer to the people of Bangladesh other than “চমক আছে আর আমার কাছে তত্ত্ব আছে “ Shala ! Be gone with your political predictions and false dreams, your mother has shown disrespect to our religion, our prophet, and has killed many and widowed many. Allah will debase those who do unjust in this world, and will be called to account for their deeds, even to the minute grain of sand.”

One good news that I can not wait to tell, many of you may have already heard that Sheikh Hasina had a go at ATN senior reporter Munni Shah. She is said to have been very upset after a brief bout with the Prime Minister when she went to interview her in New York. It is said that lady Hitler became annoyed and agitated by Munni Shah’s grilling. Sheikh Hasina couldn’t handle the question coming out from Munni Shah. The prime minister lost her temper and severely reprimanded her. Her camera was confiscated and protocol officers told her to leave the room.

Initially this incident was in the air around streets of New York, and many of her colleagues couldn’t believe that this indeed had happened, but it is now confirmed by her and others who were in the room. Munni Saha is now in a very upsetting mood, and nothing is said to be cheering her up. She tried to find solace in the natural world near United Nation Building, but all in vain.

Munni Shah’s mind is in turbo mood, after all, she had held Sheikh Hasina in high esteem, and Madam Sheikh Hasina liked that very much. This habit of flattery is a big problem in Bangladesh. Many of the leaders are given too much flattery and respect by those around them that they do not deserve, and that makes men puffed up, and they become more arrogant. If only we had followed the saying of the prophet, that do not praise your brothers in front of them, because it would destroy them, as they would become conscious of themselves being good and not see the bad side of them. Our world of politics would have been much better.

But now Munni Shah probably went beyond her flattery, and had put question that suddenly exposed Sheikh Hasina’s lies. And according to a well known saying, if you want to know a persons true nature, then make them angry, and anger did caught up with Sheikh Hasina, and  finally, to her surprise. Munni Shah had learnt something true about Sheikh Hasina, that in reality, this woman Prime Minister of Bangladesh is unstable, mentally disturbed, and not fit to run our country.

After this incident many are asking why the Media is remaining silent, for surely the government is suppressing their freedom to publish all news. The editors and owners of the print and electronic media are under censorship of the government not to publish anything that harms them, although the news may be true. Journalists are killed, beaten up, Media totally shut downed on flimsy excuses such as Amardesh and Diganto TV. If silences of the media continue, and they do not stand up to fight for their press freedom, more journalists will be abased and more than that our country will suffer due to suppressing of the truth about the failures and crimes of this government. So Amadershomy should answer to their consciousness, and discard self certified popularity campaign for Sajeeb Joy.

A sudden meeting with Death

A piece of writing by Sayeem Chowdhury has reminded me of Death, though the story he wrote in his face book status was not about meeting death, but meeting someone by chance. So I ask this rhetorical question, in the midst of enjoyment and leisure, in the depth of our myriads of happiness and hope, one day, if the death were to be met by us, and if we were not prepared; will we have the power to ask for a delay?  You may think you know the answer, but how much have you prepared? Reflect for a few second and… but before this, I would like to say a few things about Sayeem. He and I met long before 2007. A village cousin of mine invited him and another journalist by the name Sahan to my house. Sahan now runs a printing company in the UK, and Sayeem works as an executive editor in a UK Bangla newspaper. Sayeem was the slimmer of the two, but had extraordinary talent for writing short stories in Bangla. I read a few of his stories which at any rate is awesome, but every one of his stories abruptly ends and doesn’t go far enough to become a novel. Had he found a way to elaborate and expound on the characters more, he could have turned each one of his short stories in to novels.

Sayeem had a story behind his coming to the UK, and more than that he supports a party that I don’t support, and above all, he has a spiritual vagueness that might one day put him into trouble. We all have doubts: doubts because life is full of ‘unknown’ how can we be sure of everything. Having doubts is natural; sometimes it saves us from making wrong decisions. We doubt, when something is too good to be true. Like yesterday, I had a direct message from a friend asking me to check a website. Its one of those sites that lets you dream of making money from home without actually selling anything. Sounds too good to be true ! So what’s the catch? They will ask you to send money for a kit, whether this kit will lead to your millions, one can not tell, but certainly, the seller of the idea had already made money from you, while you could be at lose.

Sayeem took a lot of chance in life, and he persisted and succeeded in one. If he had not, he would have been at losing. He dreams of launching his own newspaper one day, Because he wants to be his own boss, and publish news that he feels worthy of news; and to leave those junk stories that only meant to satisfy a political party. If he can achieve that, yellow journalism might become a thing of the past.

But now, my purpose of writing is not about Sayeem, but his thinking and argument. We could all argue that we have plenty of time to prepare our self for the hereafter. We must have had some experiences of this from our school days: Many of us might have thought, the school has just started, lets relax for a bit, the exam is a year away. Then came three months, then six, then the final exam only a month away. Now we suddenly realized !  But before we could realize, our future had become the present, and the present had become the past, the exam had already started, and we had been left with nothing to write. But the difference is, in this life we could sit for another exam, achieve our grade, but once we meet with our death, there is no coming back to sit another exam.

Back a week a go, I read in a newspaper that Steven Hawkings, after all those years of his scientific discoveries and research, he came to conclusion that there is no life after death, that all this stories about  life after death, heavens and hell are nothing but fairy tale. Indeed, a man of his understanding knows everything about science and everything about creation of the world. But if I were to ask him how this world came in to existent, he would say, why! It’s started with the big bang. Then if you ask him how the big bang had started - like all scientists - he could go back as far as millionths of a second before the big bang, but not beyond. That’s where science stops and Allah’s command begins, for him, Allah; he doesn’t need any material to create. He creates out of nothing, for he says, when he intends to create a thing, he only says to it be and it is.

The Quran tells us, a book revealed more than 1400 years a go when science of the universe, as we know it today was absent. ““Do the unbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together before we separated them, and that we brought all living things into existence from water? Why do they still not believe in God?” (21:30)

The big bang theory tells us that space and matter were together in one mind boggling mass, and in a mind boggling temperature. Then for some reason it separated and matter took over anti matter to form the universe. Doesn’t the Quran say the same thing? Modern science also tells us that all living thing is aquatic. Above verse confirms that indeed all living things were created of water.

The Newton’s force of gravity is explained in this Quranic verse:  “God it is who raised up the heavenly bodies to invisible pillars ...” (13:2). These are the pillars that you can not see, pillars of gravity.  Indeed, any person who would reflect on the creation will find that there is unity and intelligence in everything. When was the last time you looked above you in the sky? See how it is made, and how it is decorated with stars. Your eyes will come back to you, but never will you find any faults in the creation.

You may ask, when we die, and we are turned in to dust, are we to return back? That is a distance return. Well, just reflect for a second, what is difficult to create, you or the universe. And the one, who created the first creation, is it difficult to create the second time. Just look at the rain how it revives the dead earth in to life. Exactly like that will be your rising. So do not be in confusion of the hereafter, but prepare yourself for the meeting from where there is no returning. Like the story of Sayeems reference to Rabindranath ‘HOTATH DEKHA” your death will surely meet you suddenly, and you will not have time to prepare.

ICT Prosecutor Turin Afroz cries out again

ICT prosecutor Barrister Turin Afroz received scolding from her fellow colleague over contempt of court filed against channel 24 and two other talk show participant, Dr Jafrullah chowdhury and journalist Mahfuz Ullah. I have seen both of those two men in various talk shows speaking from their hearts against the government controversial policies and with plausible logic. But on 18 September their attack over ICT controversy was a bit too much for the government gangsters to swallow.

It is an insincerity that when government Ministers makes comment on ICT verdict , and even predicts what the verdict would be, no contempt court is filed against them, but once people speaks their mind on injustices that are so widespread surrounding the ICT, immediate case is filed against them to shut their protesting voice.

Most recently, an Awami Minister Abdul Latif Siddique, reported to have said that any Jamat supporter who calls for Hartal should be sought after at their homes, and slaughtered for exercising their constitutional rights. Imagine this incitement to kill coming from a responsible Minister, if that is the mind set of their leaders, then what nicety can you expect from their supporters. The point noted here is, when someone had filed a case against the Minister for incitement of violence, the courts dismissed it forthright.

Today, Maulana Delwaer Hussain Sayeedi expressed his non confidence on the two Supreme Court judges, Justice Sinha and Justic Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik. These two judges are said to have been promoted to the appellate division of the Supreme Court, especially to give secure judgement on the bidding of the government. They are from the household of Awamileague adherent.

Delwar Hussain Sayedi has the right reason to fear them; Justice Manik is a man against whom the former speaker of Parliament gave damning ruling. He is a judge with many corruption and irregularities on his name. Last year Amar Desh had carried out a report about his financial dealings and foreign assets; He is said have had 3 properties in the UK valuing around a million pounds. It is inconceivable that a Judge on his modest Bangladeshi salary would find millions of pound to buy property in the UK, unless it was from other inappropriate incomes.  Amardesh had reported the properties were in his name according to land registry documents. Soon thereafter, Mahmodur Rahman became a target in his hit list, although he had other powerful enemies beside Justice Manik.

Channel 24 may be saved from any serious consequences, because the channel owner is an Awami man, and it is said one of the prosecutors of ICT is a son of the TV channel director. Now we know why she was made to cry like a baby. But other two men may not be as lucky, as they may not have son’s prosecutors to help them.

After the telling off, Barrister Turin Afroz took leave for a month for soul searching, and may be to cry more at her colleagues rebuke. But what she and other prosecutors should be concerned is for their hereafter. Injustices in this world may be done due to power, but in the next world God will never be unjust. That is why Jamat assistant secretary today has welcomed the door to martyrdom. He will never ask for mercy to an unjust ruler.

When there is no news, there’s always local news.

When I waked up in the morning today and read a few media headlines, I thought that I would forget about writing today, but then there’s always one or two story that immediately strikes you, and you fell the urge to shout and express yourself whether it has any impact or not. It hit me very personally to see so many injustices taking place in the world. I feel powerless to do anything about it, though my mind agitates me to fight and argue within, as if mind alone can defeat the evil facing our society.

The problem is not only confined to Bangladesh, but everywhere I look, I see this global village full of corruption, war, injustices, nepotism, and tyranny. So really, my mind is disturbed by many and not only one issue. Bu today, it’s not about foreign issue that I want to write, but I want to share about a local experience that had a story behind.

Last night a brother of mine phoned me to attend a reception party arranged by London BNP to honour Mr Mahibur Rahman, the current BNP international affairs secretary. I wasn’t that keen to go there since I always got bored by the many speakers saying the same thing over and over again. But Dilu Bai insisted that I go there; perhaps because it was much near to where I live, and he probably needed a company, so reluctantly I forced my self to be a part of that gathering.

As usual, the meeting started late. One by one, line of speakers began their flattery; some had suggested that Mahib Bai should stand for parliamentary election from Maulovi Bazar. Some one was even so bold to have said that he wanted Mahidur Rahman to be honoured with not only one MP title but two. I was bit confused at first, not a clue what he meant, then a colleague sitting next to me reminded that it was a famous joke that we Sylheti often fling at them: Maulovi Bazari Poga, in short MP – that was quiet a joke – every one burst in to laughter except me, because by the time I found out the joke had already died.

Newham councillor, Ayesha Chowdhury said something standing on the podium that caught my attention. I had always thought that she was an Awamileague supporter, and when she was called to give her speech I thought, here we go again, another brainless Balist probably will talk about freedom fight, war crime, and a lot of mumbo jumbo. But to my surprise, she began by saying, “let it be known that I am a BNP supporter, and it was this man who had inspired me to join BNP.”

She continued “I don’t agree with others that Mahib Bai will make a good MP in Bangladesh, because he has a noble character, therefore, he wouldn’t know how to do corruption, pay bags full of money to buy votes, and in my opinion people like him will be corrupted if he goes there.”

Everyone seems to have agreed with her, and then another speaker came to the podium who disagreed with Councillor Ayesha. His argument was plausible. He argued that people like Mahib Bai could have a positive impact on those who do corruption, as one needs clean water to remove dirt, and Mahib Bai could offer that clean water. I agreed with both of the speaker, as conditionally both of them could be right, and both could be wrong. All depend on the strength and weakness of the subject. If the subject character is strong, he could be in any environment without being corrupted, and if he is weak, he can be easily corrupted.

I had seen Mr Mahib making speeches many times in Water Lily save Bangladesh program in the past. His speech is certainly well measured, and he is not a guy who shouts a lot like BNP’s former president Abdul Malik. I think BNP made a good choice to give him the post of international affairs secretary. Time quickly went, and it was already ten by my watch, and there was still a line of speakers remaining to shower him with adjectives. By then we already had our starter’s somosa and chicken tikka, but the main course wasn’t going to come any time soon, certainly not before every one had spoken, so I made an excuse seemingly to receive a phone call and sneaked out of the unfinished meeting to my home leaving the deputy Mayor of Tower hamlets and others to deliver their unfinished flattery.

Egypt secular courts Bans Muslim Brotherhood

This is a black day in Egypt, for Muslim Brotherhood political history. It seems the party is stuck in a vicious circle of conspiracy and hatred by the secularist and leftist die hard, who used the secular courts to ban the party and seize its assets. General Sisis’s grab of power had not been enough to leave them alone, It is a familiar predicament for the Brotherhood, which has been banned for most of its 85-year history and has successfully fought off every threat to its existence.

The group's London-based spokesman, Abdullah al-Haddad, tweeted: "The Muslim Brotherhood are part and parcel of Egyptian society. Corrupt illegitimate judicial decisions cannot change that … [The Muslim Brotherhood] will continue to be present on the ground: they cannot kill an idea, they tried before and failed – they are trying again and they will fail."

Brotherhood members who remain at liberty say that the arbitrary arrests and state-led killings of their colleagues remain a far more serious threat to the organisation's operational capacity than anything else. Most of the leadership are in hiding and many of its senior leaders are in jail. This has opened leadership positions for the youths to take responsibility for the group. The youths are more revolutionary, and they will continue to strive and struggle to survive this crisis, and may come up with new ideas to confront this evil Pharaoh Sisi.

It is natural, where ever there is Pharaoh, there will be Musa. Tyranny and oppression has a limited life, soon people will rise up again to drown Sisi and his followers in a new wave of protests. But this might take time, and time is a witness to all past dictators who had their moments of glory, but perished away violently without mercy.

The real irony is the attitude of the west. On one hand they propagate democracy by the ballot box, but when it does not suit them they support rule by bullets. General Sisi had all the support it needed from USA and the Israeli Saudi axis before it staged the coup. And with their money and support Sisi will continue to bury any hope the young youths of Egyptian revolutionary had when it started the movement from Tahrir Square. America is a two faced democratic evil for the world. It is supporting dictators in many of the Arab country, as well as providing tacit support in places like Bangladesh. A stable, free and fair world can not happen by pick and choose. The standard of principle should be applied the same for every country. Otherwise, marginalized, disfranchised angry people will give rise to more terrorism and war.

The Egyptian people need to rise up from their sleep and consider whether dictatorship of Sisi is better than a democratically elected president. They need to look from a different dimension to challenge western domination, and secularist folly to return back to the glory of past Islamic history. The Banning of Egypt Brotherhood underscores the need to fight on with even more determination and zeal to uproot injustices in the Muslim world.

Egypt martyr’s blood should not go in vain; people cannot not stand by and allow such impunity to go unchallenged. They must also remember that there are foreign agents who will put various impediments to their endeavour, so vigilance against all their conspiracy and finding new ideas to tackle them must be in their mind. They must remember that when the west talks of democracy and social justice; they only mean democracy and social justice that serves their interest and not the interest of the Muslims.

Mr Nannu, the man in the secret video, denies having conversation with Diganto TV. But why is this denial now?

Toby Cadman, the human rights lawyer for the defence, after having seen the secret video, had commented in an interview with the Daily Telegraph that he was concerned about the prosecution and the government coercion to force witnesses to give false statement against his client. That comment had lead many die hard psychopath of the Awami supporters sending threatening text to him. He tweeted today that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated. These threats show’s the true nature of the fascist Awamileague regime, that they can not tolerate the truth.

Bangladeshi people are emotionally sensitive; they are prone to follow publicity by the press and media, without analyzing or giving much thought about it. They follow with the wind. Majority of people follows their leader and what they hear without objectively asking question.

This man Nannu, never in the least thought that he had been secretly filmed by Diganto TV. He probably confided in them believing it to be a conversation well guarded, never to be revealed to the public domain; but there is a saying in the police department, that if two people hear, the news is bound to reach a third, and if three people hears, it is bound to reach ten. So, my advice to people who wants to keep a secret is, never tell them to a second person.

But our friend Naanu’s case is different, because a man’s life and death depended on his statement, so he has done the right thing to disclose it to a third party. Whether it will help Maulana Nizami or not is another matter. As for his excuse and press statement, one can understand that he needs to save his life from Sheikh Hasina, so naturally, the man would deny ever having said anything, or deny that it was him on the video with flimsy, laughable excuses. What difference does it make if after one year the man now has moustache or a long thick hair? All he needs to do is grow his hair, or wear a falls wig and moustache.

If any body had seen the video, they would have been aware that unlike the tampered video of Delwar Hussain Sayeedi, which our crooked political opponent had made to malign Maulana Sayeedi, on the contrary, this video’s voice, body movement, physical characteristic and features were all natural. But you know, Awamileague and their die hard followers are truth sensitive, they will deny the truth even if they see the angel coming down from the sky. They have some similarity with Abu Jahal and Abu Lahab.

Sunday 22 September 2013

Sheikh Hasina’s private army recruited from BGB are getting readied to suppress the opposition.

A Bangladeshi newspaper 'Amadershomy' reported today that government has readied special units of Bangladeshi border guards, giving them special powers and equipment to arrest and kill with impunity once the opposition agitation starts after 25th October 2013. This is indicative of Sheikh Mujibs Rokki Bahini, a private army of loyal soldiers recruited to carry out suppression on government orders.

If election is not held under a neutral government, if injustice, corruption, and bullying continue, the opposition must go for complete shutdown of the country until fall of government. The people are angry, bruised and burning with rage. The opposition have given the government too much time, now is the time for action. People have given blood. Their blood should not go in vain. The brave youths of Bangladesh must get ready to rock the boat of Awamillegue.

The day after, will be a day free of oppression, no more crusades 100. No more Awamillegue plague, No BDR massacre, No Sagor runi, No Suronjit robbery, no Indian bullying. Democracy and justice will flourish. People of Bangladesh will have a bright future for their offspring. Awamillegue government of Sheikh Hasina is based on lies, they will keep lying to the people to stay in power, and no one should believe them.

For the people of Bangladesh, letting this Awami tyrannical government come in to power is possibly one of their worst-ever decisions. What it had promised before the election faded away with the massacre of the army officers in Philkhana.

Everyone agrees that all the officers who died there had ideological following of BNP or Jamat. It was a pre-planned massacre of innocent army officers to remove any opposition from the army so that they can carry out Sheikh Mujib dream of one party rule BAKSAL. One witness had said in a recent secret recorded video posted in you tube that talking to Sheikh Hasina and her cronies; he sensed that no matter what, even if they had to kill to go to power, they would do that. This is sheer madness and a fascist project of Sheikh Hasina that must be stopped.

No doubt the ruling party and its elites are fully aware of people’s grievances and anger at the Government due to its tyrannical policy, which directly goes against the interest of the people of Bangladesh. Sensing this well, the ruling party is carrying out its well-planned agenda of political secret killings, as well as forced disappearances, filing false cases against the opposition, and politically motivated killings of Jamat leaders in the name of war crimes. Their goal is to eliminate most of the potential political opponents of Jamat before the election. This road of Sheikh Hasina is at the expense of people interest. Bangladesh is not a poor country; it is rich in culture and rich in people. No matter how many people they kill or disappear, there always will be people ready to sacrifice their lives for their freedom.

Awamillegue came to power with false promises. People of Bangladesh are not ignorant; they are clever people – clever enough to understand difference between truth and false, conspiracy and sincerity. They have borrowed their policy from India. Soon their political masters will run out of ideas.Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury and his filthy writing in the Bangladesh Independent to inspire the Indians to support the psychopath Sheikh Hasina’s government may not find any support with the Indian government once things become clearer with the opposition coming out on the streets.

The opposition supporters must unite all manpower; it is a duty upon everyone to oppose injustice with force. If he can not, then with his tongue, and if he can even do that then he should hate it with his heart and after that he should not sit idle but ponder over it to change it. This is a serious crisis for Bangladesh and we should all try our best to free the country from Awamillegue psychopath.

Battles are never won with frail voices. Strong and resolute actions are needed to challenge those who oppress people; we see a Zalim government in power that is bent on suppressing democratic voices. Never give up to the Awami thugs.
